Reinhold J. Weber, 81, of Clearwater, FL passed away on November 15, 2018 at Palm Gardens of Largo, Florida. He was born on January 1, 1937 in Hanau, Germany to Albrecht and Katherine (Leibold) Weber. He served in the US Army from January 13, 1959 thru January 12, 1961 as a Staff Specialist and was awarded the good Conduct Medal. After his military career, he was an automotive engineer for American Motors which later became Chrysler Corporation. In 1989, he moved to Clearwater, FL from Kenosha, Wisconsin and attended ST John’s Episcopal Church in Clearwater, Florida.
Preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold is survived by his wife, Leona Weber of Clearwater, FL; a son, Michael Weber of Holly Hills, Wisconsin; a daughter, Lydia Frische of Germantown, WS; a sister, Angelica Stolzenburg of Germany and eight grandchildren.
Full military honors and graveside services will be 11:00 am, Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Florida National Cemetery, 6802 S/W 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida with the US Army Honors and Ceremonial Team and the VFW Post 10209, officiating.
A celebration of life service to honor Reinhold will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the St John’s Episcopal Church, 1676 South Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL 33764 with Reverend Kathleen Walter, to officiate.
