Juanita C. Jenkins, 86, passed away, November 24, 2018.
She was born to John and Verlie Combs in Mt. Dora, FL. She came here in 1992 from Jacksonville, Florida. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Gulf Coast Church in Largo. She lived to please and honor the one she loved the most, her gracious Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. She embodied the essence of a godly, caring and nurturing wife, mother and “Nannie.”
She was predeceased by her husband, Harowl Jenkins, to whom she was married in 1951. She is survived by her daughters, Patty (Jeff) Thompson and Peggy (Randy) Morris, her brother, Dan Combs, Zellwood, FL, her sisters, Mary Clark, Orlando and Joyce Hragyil, St. Petersburg, FL. She was proud of her 4 grandchildren, Rev. Wes Morris, Amanda Hull, Chris Morris and Kaylie Henao, 7 great-grandchildren, Ashtyn, Caden, Austen, Benson, Lyla, Chandler & Lillian. A Celebration of her life will be Wednesday, Nov 28th at 11 am at Gulf Coast Church, 13301 Walsingham Rd, Largo. Contributions can be made in her memory to Gulf Coast Church, in care of “Linda’s Kids Kenya.”

I was so moved by the video that was played at the end of your moms funeral. The Alzheimers took much of her memory but the word of God and his sacred music was not! It was imprinted deep in her soul. What a blessing she was to so many. You both were wonderful daughters who too great care of sister Juanita.
