William “Al” Allen Robinson, 87, of Dunedin passed away on November 27, 2018.
Al was born in Millington, Maryland, a son of the late William Robinson and Ruby King Robinson. Al retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer. He was responsible for running the computer room both at Annapolis and the Pentagon. After retiring from the Navy, he and his wife, Gail, were in the real estate business together. He was a member of Good Shepherd Church and American Legion Post #275.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years Gail Braun Robinson of Dunedin, two sons: Paul Robinson of Virginia and Jason Robinson of Florida, one sister, Betty Ann Thorpe and her husband, Ken of New Jersey, two brothers : Carvile Robinson and his wife Kitty of Millington, Maryland and Edward Robinson and his wife, Lucille also of Millington, Maryland.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Church at 639 Edgewater Drive, Dunedin, Florida. Reverend Becky Robbins-Penniman will be officiating. Military rites will be rendered. Internment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Veterans Funeral Care has been entrusted with arrangements.
We will miss you Big Al. You were a lot of fun to be around and a very good man. Condolences to family.
