Larry Dean Thomason, 64, passed away on November 23, 2018. Born March 29, 1954 in Los Angeles, California, to the late Martha Irene (Rayfield) Thomason and the late Harold Thomason. Larry graduated from Ellington High School in 1971 and joined the United States Air Force, where he served 4 years. After working as a meat cutter in the family grocery store in Ellington, MO, Larry moved his family to Florida. Larry soon found his passion for sales and joined the insurance industry in 1982. He always worked to put the client first and always lead with truth and backed it up with facts. First and foremost was his conviction for the Lord Jesus Christ and his ability to always be a great motivator and devoted witness regardless of the circumstances that he faced. Mr. Thomason was a member of First Baptist Church of New Port Richey and Lower Doe Run Missionary Baptist Church of Ellington, MO. He was a devoted Son, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend. He is survived by his three sons, Jason Thomason of New Port Richey, FL; Michael Thomason of New Port Richey, FL and Dean Thomason of Saint Petersburg, FL. He gladly welcomed his daughter-in-law, Amanda Thomason, and always focused his loving attention and guidance to his granddaughter, Aurora Thomason of New Port Richey and grandson, Jacob Thomason of Titusville, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the service for additional expenses used for Larry’s Celebration of Life ceremony in Ellington, MO at the Lower Doe Run Missionary Baptist Church.

Michael and Family,
The service today was a tribute to Larry, he would have been proud. As time passes your pain of loss will decrease and good memories will flourish. A priest once told me ” You strive to do your best & win the race! You have to fight and fight hard”.
Always feel you can contact me if needed.
