72, soared to Heaven on June 29th. Linda was a daughter, sister and beloved friend to many. Her passions included singing, traveling, working, caring for parents’, plants, fashion, decorating and doting on her 18year old kitty, Sweet Pea.
Linda enriched and touched thousands of lives with her God-given voice. She performed in ensembles, church choir, praise team, dinner theaters, pageants, weddings and funerals. She sang with orchestras and competed in the Miss Tennessee pageant (she won best vocal scholarship). She sang solos and was an active choir member of Indian Rocks Baptist Church for over 30 years. Her outstanding voice blessed and enriched lives across the globe, including Israel, U.K., and Mexico. She always remained humble and kind.
Her dedication to her parents well-being, especially in their later years, was inspiring, heart-warming, and consistent. Linda was independent and brilliant. Her knowledge of medicine, horticulture, care giving, music, nature and animals was impressive. In her short battle with esophageal cancer the medical professionals were always impressed with her knowledge.
Linda grew up in Columbus, OH. The last 30 years, she resided in Seminole, FL. She attended Upper Arlington H.S in Columbus, OH, and graduated from Belmont University, Nashville, TN. She is preceded in death by father, Ralph Porter Brewer and is survived by 97-year old mother, Peggy Stacker Brewer; sister, Judy Wiseman; brothers Ralph Wayne Brewer (Tani); and William Randoph Brewer (friend Charel). She was adored by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Linda was a woman of strong faith and a follower of Christ. Her Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 5, 3pm, Indian Rocks Baptist Church. I had the blessing of knowing Linda and singing with her at Indian Rocks Church choir for many years. Her voice was amazing and will be missed. I am sure she is singing to the Lord now and renewed from this awful disease called cancer
I will miss you but I know we will meet again in Glory
Linda was an Awesome Lady and she will be missed by all of us
I was Linda’s neighbor for the last 6 years, her kindness & thoughtfullness will always be remembered, R.I.P Linda,
So hard to say what is in our hearts for the loss of Linda. I remember when she traveled to Israel on a mission trip and sang praises to our Lord with such love for her Savior that I will never forget. I know she has God’s promise to be with Him now and I praise the Lord for that knowledge. We will miss her so much.
I have known Linda since 1984 and she was a beautiful example of a Christian lady. I loved her singing. When my husband passed away in 2018, I immediately thought of Linda for the music. I am looking forward to being reunited with her in Heaven. May God give her family peace knowing she is with the Lord and we will be united some day. We
I was in choir with Linda for many years. Her love and kindness always shone through everything she did. Christmas plays , special holiday performances, and Jamborees were always better with her in them. She will be missed tremendously but she isn’t lost to us. She just got to go before us to join a bigger choir. Praises to God for His saving Grace that will let us sing together again some fine morning. And God has made her whole again
I’d only known Linda a short time before she contracted the awful disease. How I wish it could have been longer. I immediately sensed her love of the Lord, her compassion for others and the way she used her talents to bring a caring heart and support to others. Her inside and outside beauty shone all around and brought light to many who knew her. Rest well in the care of the Lord until we meet again Linda.

I did not see Linda very often but when she would sing with the Country Band at church we would always have a nice chat. I always admired her and loved her voice. I know she was a woman of God because she let us see Jesus in her. She will be greatly missed.
Linda blessed me for years with her singing before I knew her. How often during a hard time in my life, a solo that she sang at church encouraged my heart. During recent months I got to know Linda in our connection group at church. Her smile, our sweet conversations, and her loving ways always cheered me. I will miss her. I pray for comfort and peace for her family.
Linda was a true woman of faith! Always genuine and kind. Her beautiful bright smile and love for the Lord was always an encouragement and blessing to not only me, but everyone that knew her. I am so grateful to God that we crossed paths on this earth and that one day she will welcome me into heaven (right along side of Jesus) just as she did the choir 20 years ago. You will be missed, my precious sister in Christ Jesus. Until we meet again beautiful lady (inside and out). ❤️❤️❤️
I am at a loss of words to describe how much Linda has meant to me for the past several years, that I have known her.
She and my counselor became very special people, that gave me a reason to look forward to my counseling appointments.
They say that God sends special people into our lives to help and teach us, and she was a blessing to me!
She was always so kind, compassionate, caring, very giving, and she had the most beautiful heart and was blessed with a gorgeous singing voice!
I am going to miss her smiling face and cheerful greetings, each time I have my counseling appointments!
I will never forget Linda and her kindness and compassion…she was amazing!
Oh sweet and lovely friend. It was so wonderful reconnecting with you these past few years. Rest in love, peace, hope and beauty. Until we meet again.
Linda and I went to high school together from 1963-1966. I met her in home room my first day. I was shy because I did not know lots of kids, being a transfer. She befriended me and introduced me to lots of my classmates. She made me feel so comfortable. She had no enemies, only friends. She was very talented and could sing like a “song bird”. Her Facebook name. We would meet during our class reunions and talk about our lives. She always made me feel so happy to see her. May the Lord watch over her and give her a special place in the Lords Choir or Angels. Your UAHS classmates will always remember and love you dearly. Rest in Pease Sweet Linda till we all meet again. Watch over us all.
I did Hello Dolly with Linda at St Petersburg little theater though I dont remember the year. 30 years ago. She was talented, sweet and was wonderful. My memory fades yet I remember her as a thoughtful and caring person
She will be met at the Rainbow Bridge in paradise.
Linda carpooled to high school with me. I enjoyed reminiscing with her during our recent UAHS reunions. Her deep faith in God during this challenging year and her numerous messages to the UAHS Class of ‘66 have touched my heart. Blessing and prayers for her family and friends.
She’s She’s in Heaven I never knew her but sounds like one of Gods servants. I hope we meet in heaven!
My condolences to the Brewer family ❤🙏❤
