Harold I. Nugent, 85, of Largo Florida passed away at Largo Medical Center on June 12th, 2020.
He was born to Garland and Lola Mae Nugent in Flint Michigan on October 12th, 1934.
Harry had a twin brother, Buck, and a younger brother, Bob.
He was married 3 times and has a total of 7 children. Their names are Carol, Brad, David, Steve, Raymond, Richard and Tara. He has several grandchildren and their names are Andrea, Matt, Brandon, Dakota and Cecily.
Harry and Debbie, his 3rd and last wife, were together 34 years, the last 3 years as husband and wife. They both enjoyed going to Flea Markets and dancing.
He liked playing baseball in 11th grade at Dearborn High School. And he graduated from there on 6/12/1952.
Harry received a certificate as the Founder of A Man And His Boys, which was a nationally televised program in 1972 dedicated to building a better America, signed by Jess Moody.
He was a loving companion to his wife and a supportive friend to all his co-workers and in his personal life.
Harry was my neighbor when I was 14 years old. I went to work with him painting houses the following summer. An experience I value to this day. Harry had a clever sense of humor – one that would make you have to stop and think.
He cared about those he knew and loved and never hesitated in lending a helping hand. I miss our time together; long phone discussions about life and business, the jokes and music videos we would email back-and forth and just the way we poked fun at each other. He had a calming affect me that I will carry with me. We enjoyed a special 48 year friendship. Even though we don’t get to see him now, I believe he is still with us…his soul is simply vibrating at another frequency. My condolences and love to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
