James Wendell Belch, of Lakeland, was born on July 6, 1933 to Jessie and Gladys (Dougherty) Belch in Ahoskie, North Carolina. He passed away on October 20, 2020 at James A. Haley VA Medical Center at the age of 87. James served his country in the United States Army and later worked in the fabrication division of National Industries.
He will buried, along with 129,000 other veterans, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
