My condolences to the Voorhees Family. I just read about the passing Gloria about a week ago. Today, I just read about I’m passing in 2018. Your mom and dad were very special to me. I work at Tampa Bay Downs. They would stop in daily for a few hours each day. As I got to know Gloria, she would visit our office to chat chat. What a sweet, sweet woman. When her Alzheimer’s got to the point of her going into the long term care facility, I would visit her very often. Even though she didn’t remember my name, she knew who I was though. One particular time, the football game was on and the national anthem was playing. She knew every verse. And sang her heart out. I have very fond memories of them both. May the memories you shared during your lifetime be your comfort. They will always be in my heart.
