United States Air Force Korean War Veteran
Simpson, Donald G. Age 89, of Tampa, FL, entered into rest Monday, January 9, 2021.
Donald was born in June 1931 to the late Alva Ettinger and Alfred Simpson in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Donald was a devoted husband to his late wife, Susan Simpson, who he loved wholeheartedly.
He served in The United States Air Force during the Korean War. He received numerous medals including the Korean Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Army Good Conduct Medal.
Donald passions included racehorses, listening to music, and watching sports. Some of his favorite past times were watching his Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtic’s while eating Hershey’s Dark Chocolate.
Donald was as a kind and gentle soul. All who knew him will sorely miss him and life will truly not be the same without his joyful presence.
Donald is survived by his devoted caregiver, Nancy.
