Larry Gordon Brady-PFC-USMC-Vietnam War Veteran


Larry Gordon Brady, 77, of Bell, Florida passed away at the North Florida Hospital, Gainesville, Florida on February 22, 2021.  He was a native of the Tampa Bay area (Parrish Florida), a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era and was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and qualified as a Infantryman and a small arms repair man.  He was of the Baptist faith, lifelong resident of Bell, Florida, a Lineman and Supervisor of Direct Safety and Claims and a long time employee of Florida Power.

He was born to William and Rosa (Keen) Brady on April4, 1943 and is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Mary and a son, Scott Causey  Brady.  Larry is survived by his loving family: a son, Mark Brady and his wife, Bobbi of Bell, Florida; two brothers, Lloyd Brady and his wife, Mary Beth of Lakeland, Florida and Pastor Jim Brady and his wife, Diane of Thonotosassa, Florida; two sisters, Ann Singletary and her husband, Duane of Lake City, Florida and Edna Johnson and her husband, Chester of Brandon, Florida and two granddaughters, Jema Rose and Brittney Lynn.

Visitation and receiving of friends and relatives for Larry Brady will be 1:30 PM, Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Oak Hill Burial Park, 90 St John Street, Lake Placid, Florida 33852 and the funeral service will begin at 2:30 PM.  Conduction the service will be his brother, Pastor Jim Brady and full military honors will be preformed by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard.
