I met Mr. Johnson when I was a young man and he was working at Merchants Bank in Miami. I went into the bank to see him because I had bounced a check and he taught me how to never bounce a check again. Later in my life my wife and I were members of University Baptist Church in Coral Gables where Bill and his wife Harriet attended. He always took an interest in our family and never failed to ask how our so. was doing. He was one of the kindest gentlemen I’ve ever known and I am a better person for having known him.
