Warren, James T. (Jim), Lt. Col. USAF (Retired) died peacefully on January 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Jim is survived by his wife Patricia of 60 years, daughter, Pamela (Andrew), his granddaughters Lucy Chesnut and Mary Warren and his brother, William O’Neil. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Jimmy and his parents, Albert Warren and Gwendolyn Jewel.
Jim grew up in Chicago, Illinois and attended Brown University and joined the United States Air Force in 1960, “the best thing I ever did”. Jim also received degrees at Omaha University and Washington University in St Louis, but it was the Air Force that defined his life. He met his adored wife while on active duty in Japan, they were engaged, married and honeymooned on Mt. Fuji; served in Vietnam 1970 thru 1971, and worked at the Pentagon until he retired in 1980 to pursue life in the private sector.
Jim was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. Throughout his life making strangers, friends and family members truly laugh was one of the things he was most proud of doing with his time here.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” service for Jim on Saturday, March 5, 2021 at Noon (12:00 PM) at 4512 Country Gate Court, Valrico, Florida with Chaplin (Father) Bob Swick with the sharing of stories honoring Jim life. Please arrive beginning at 11:30 PM.

I am so glad I met u and Pat and we did so many things together. dinners parties and get togethers. God will take good care of u and Pat will be with her daughter, You were a special guy!!

Dearest Pat,
Sweet Jesus we had some great times together during our years in Brandon. Parties, dinners, tennis, golf, mutual friends, dancing at Blueberry Hill and the weddings of our children. Perfect friends, the Warren and O’Shea families. I had spoken with Jim just a few weeks before his passing, catching up on so many good times and planning getting together in Camden after a future move. The love between us will never fade, the memories a big part of our lives. We hope to see you, Pam, Andrew and the girls in the near future. Love Always, Jody & Anita

Pat and her family, We are thinking of you all on this sad day of losing Jim. The only saving grace is the wonderful memories we will remember for the last 20 + years, we all had picking strawberries, golfing, football games, buffet diners, movies and just having a wonderful time together and laughing together. We wish we can find the right words to say for the many decades of friendship with you and your families. Our vacations together in Mexico, the Carolinas, girls tennis competitions to California, dinners, buffets, movies and of course you always getting the desert first before the meal and desert after the meals. You are loved and missed so, so very much and will be missed. You and I have always started our conservation of “How lucky we were to have to have combined 50+ years during our career of service to the USAF and our love of our God, country, wives, children and family. Even though it has been many many years since I have seen or spoken to Jim and his family, it is with sadness to learn of this loss. Jim and my family were related by marriage [ his Mom was married to my Mothers brother ] . Life takes us on many different paths, sometimes never to meet again. But leaves us with many memories.
