Jose Antonio Rivera, Jr. — US Army Veteran

RIVERA Pic1

Jose Antonio Rivera Jr., known as “Norton”, was just 65 when he passed away on March 1st, 2022.

He was born on October 25, 1956 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Jose A. Rivera and Petra Suarez Rivera.   Jose, “Norton” was never married.
After graduating in June of 1974 from Wilber Lynch High in Amsterdam NY, he enlisted and served proudly in the U.S. Army as a 68B-Aircraft Turbine Engine Repairman.
He is survived by his three brothers Anthony, Willie, and Manny Rivera along with sister Ivette Millan.  He also leaves behind sisters-in-law Diana Rivera, Eilyn Rivera and brother-in-law Roberto Millan. Norton loved his nephews, nieces, and many family and friends so very much.

Known to all as Norton, who was a great soul.
Always humble, very giving and simply selfless.
Love to fish, play dominos and but most of all love being around family.
Norton met monthly at Bay Pines VA in St. Pete, FL to council, comfort, and listen to fellow soldiers in need of a friend.

Our beloved brother, friend, uncle, and brother in law you will be missed dearly, you will never be forgotten, but always will live in our hearts.

Rest in Peace our beloved brother.
