Richard W. (Dick) Stiteler 75, of Valrico, Florida, passed away peacefully on March
9, 2022. Born March 7, 1947, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Dick was the son of Fred N Stiteler Jr and Violet E Stiteler. In November 1967 he married the love of his life Cynthia (Cindy) Hayden in Springfield, Massachusetts and they shared 54 amazing years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Dick leaves behind a loving wife; a brother Fred Stiteler, Lee, New Hampshire and a sister Gene Hill in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran who also served a tour in South Korea before receiving his honorable discharge in 1967. In addition to his military service, Dick was an active member of the Order of DeMolay, served as Worthy Patron in the Order of the Eastern Star and he had achieved the status of being a 32º Master Mason and was a member of the Springfield, MA Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite.
He retired from the Coca-Cola System after 32 years of service including assignments in numerous States within the U.S. and in several foreign countries including France and Canada.
Dick elected not to have a Viewing/Visitation and has requested that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, which can be accessed on woundedwarriorproject.org.
He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

I never got the opportunity to meet him but I knew his wife quite well. She always called him her Prince. I know she will miss him greatly.

I am so sorry to hear that Dick has left us. Cindy, I will always remember his stories of his life, especially when he was in a band and they used to play “Sheila” by Tommy Roe. Every Christmas I think of the two of you each time I take out my Thomas Kinkade pieces. I am praying for you.

Our deepest condolences to Cindy and the entire Stiteler family. Dick was a deer friend and coworker. Dick was my first manager and sponsored me for the opportunity to come down to the US from Toronto Canada.
He has touched so many people and such a great man. He will be missed by all.
