Jared Lee Hill NAVY-USN, CM1
Jared was a gypsy soul, exemplified in his personal and professional life, but always loved the water. He served his country as a US Navy Seabee, worked in the welding industry, was a longshoreman, and worked at the Turtle Cove Marina. It was impossible not to be drawn to him. He lived in MS, PA, NJ, TX, and FL, all where he easily made friends and was the funniest person in a crowd, consistently having everyone around him laughing or smiling. He loved showing off his killer dance moves and letting loose at local country bars. He enjoyed jet skiing, deep sea diving, traveling, going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, totaling vehicles, raising his mothers blood pressure, and poking all his wife’s buttons.
Among his friends, he was known as the King of the “Sleezy Slide” and his alter ego, “Jack”, which was characterized by his party boy, crazy side. Family remembers him as the life of the party. Every family function and get together was bound to be memorable and leave you with pains in your sides. His sisters hold closest the memories of Christmases when everyone was able to come together. From watching him unwrap strategically and cleverly wrapped gifts from Jessica, making grandma uncomfortable at the dinner table with the choice of conversations, countless funny faces, and photo ops, it truly was the best time of year.
Jared really was one of a kind and will be missed immensely. He loved so hard and was equally as loved by many. After a private family service in FL, there will be a memorial service in NJ for friends and family to attend. Further details will be released by the family.

Our thoughts & Prayers are with you at this most difficult time đź’”
Our world is darker, but the stars shine brighter. You are so dearly missed already. We will hold you in our hearts until we can all dance together again someday.
Jared was like a son to me when he was around. He will be forever missed by me. He is my granddaughter Kyleigh’s dad. Kyleigh is like looking at Jared, they look exactly alike, beautiful people. He was always told how handsome he was. We will always cherish the time we had with Jared and always keep his memories in our heart. I pray for Jared’s mom and family as they go through this difficult time
Susan, Kendal, and all his siblings and family, I’m sorry for your loss. Jared will be missed deeply. My heart aches over the loss of Jared. I saw him a few weeks ago at a carnival and he lifted his shirt up to show me his six pack that he was so proud of all while eating a fried Oreo cookie. I said wait till you get my age bro then let’s see. Jared said with that huge smile “we will, I’ll still have it”. I will forever keep Jared in my thoughts. I miss him and I want him back so bad.
R. I. P. Jared. ♥️♥️♥️
My heart goes out to all of you. Such a beautiful soul. Although no words can help to ease your sorrow, know you all have been in my prayers. May our Lord continue to comfort all of you as the days unfold and your tears of emptiness may one day turn into moments of contentment and peace.
“I hope you’re dancing in the sky
And I hope you’re singing in the angels choir
And I hope the angels know what they have
I’ll bet it’s so nice in heaven since you arrived”
I love you always, no matter where you are. Until we dance again my brother❤️
My most sincere thoughts and prayers go out to your family Jared. When I heard the news, i didn’t believe it. Although you moved to Florida, you were always like a brother to me. I will forever miss our conversations, your jokes, and just who you were as a person. I just hope I can carry just a spark of what you carried and share the joy and humor you did with everybody I know.
Dear cousin ,
My love , my friend , my let’s F sh*t up partner. When you left, you took apart of me with you. My body feels numb , my heart aches , my eyes hurt from the pain and countless tears, I feel empty!! I love you and miss you more than words can explain. You were the person that I called when I was mad or sad or even just overwhelmed . It never took long for me to forget why I was mad , sad or overwhelmed because you just always knew the things to say to make me smile and laugh endlessly! You showed me it’s okay to just be yourself and let loose and not care what others think because you’re having fun and most of all creating memories which now seems like the only thing that I have left of you. Rest easy my love , you maybe gone but you will always be with me until I see your goofy self again.
Jared was a good manager a good friend he will be missed
