Sweet Friend, Lindy….you were one of my earliest friends when I moved to Tampa in 1973. I loved coming over to your house as it was always so welcoming and quiet; your parents were always so nice to me. You, Lindy, were always supportive and encouraging, and never judgemental. My home was like the “Nightmare on Hanna Ave”, but you told me a couple of years ago that my parents were always very nice to you. I will miss you, and I’m glad you are now well, and whole, and reunited with your loved ones. You fought a long and valiant fight for as long as I can recall, over the past seven years. May you rest in peace. Kurt and Christopher….what a tough, tough battle. We should all be as lucky as Lindy was in your fine care. Being a caregiver is not easy, but you made it seem easy. Lindy was happy and well-loved. I pray you both tap into some resources available for bereaved caregivers. May your warmest memories remain. My prayers and thoughts are with you both. Jan
Lindy,
I met you at Southern Miss during grad school and can’t imagine life without you in it! We have always lived a long way from each other but the distance never seemed that bad when we would catch up. You were a true friend, and I will miss you!
Kurt and Chris, all my love and sympathy!
As I said on her FB page, my heart hurts. She was unwavering in her devotion, to God, her family and her friends. The miles kept us apart, but we always knew that it would take only one phone call and it was like no time had passed. She was an angel on earth and I know that she will be greatly missed.
Mr.Brookhart, Gerald, Kurt and Chris, my Mom, Amy, Richie and I want to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Lindy, my heart is so sad at your passing from this life. But I know you are completely healed and feeling no pain in the presence of our Savior. So for that I am happy because if anyone deserves that you do.
We miss you here beliw. You were determined to overcome alk your earthly issues with God’s help. Your solifld determination was admirable. Your light here on earth will be missed. But we will see you on the other side. Save a seat for me at that great banquet table in the sky.
You have fought the good fight. You have won the race. I know that now you are with our Lord and enjoying His presence and love. Till we meet again in that wonderful city.
Lindy you sweet soul and light will live on through Kurt and Christopher. You were one of the hardest working people I ever had the pleasure to get to know. You never gave up! May You rest now. You will be missed
Lindy, you were a great person and good friend. I will miss you very much. I know you are back in the loving arms of Jesus.
While we never met in person, I still feel like I knew you. Your faith and determination were really inspiring. I know Kurt’s loss will be great along with many, and my prayers are with the family. But I can only imagine how you are now pain free and rejoicing with your Saviour!!!
Kurt and Christopher
My condolences to both of you. I rejoice knowing Lindy is no longer oxygen dependent and I has been totally healed.
Lindy and I went all thru scouts and high school together
Although circumstances took me away from Tampa for a number of years I remained loosely connected to Lindy through her Facebook account
Klidell said she would let me know details about the Memorial Services once determined
Lindy, your smile and unwavering faith in God that you freely shared will be missed by so many! You are now in His light and free from suffering. I pray that your family will be comforted by the many wonderful memories they have of you, and that they will feel God’s loving arms around them.
I am so saddened to learn of Lindy’s passing. She was one of the nicest and most welcoming people I have ever met. She was kind to me as a poor dorky high schooler. I am so glad I had the chance to connect with her again on Facebook a few years ago and get to know her better. She was a wonderful woman who left a positive impact on the lives she touched — definitely on my life.
I am so sorry to learn of Lindy’s passing. My condolences to her family; there are people who leave a hole in your life when they go on and she is one of them. She always had a ready smile and a good natured laugh. I remember her as a madcap when we met in high school, in Uncle Raoul’s French class, and on our summer school trip to Europe. Love you Lindy.
