Joseph A. Beauvais, 79, of Clearwater, FL passed away on August 20th, 2022 in his home following a 5-month long illness.
On December 1st, 1942, he was born in Pawtucket, RI to loving parents, Leo Beauvais and Florence Bellivezu-Beauvais.
On June 6th, 1964, he married his love Maureen April Beauvais in Pawtucket, RI. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage.
Joe was the owner and operator of Joe’s Pool Service, Firehouse Nite Club, and MoeJoe’s Pub. He was also a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
His proudest achievements included being a US Army Vietnam Veteran (1964-1967) where he received a Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal. He became 100% disabled during his time of service.
He is survived by his daughters- Brenda (Steven Primo) McShane and Christine Henson, grandchildren- Stephanie (Rob) Castellucci, Ryan McShane, Tiffany Henson, and Kylie Henson, sisters- Joan (Paul) Neveu and Diana Bean.
He is predeceased by his sisters- Loretta Robichaud and Shirley Berard, and brother- Leo Beauvais.

He was a voice a reason during my childhood,he was a dad and uncle at times, I’m truly saddened, Thank you uncle Joe for the many nite time visits to our apartment, I heard you and will always remember how you helped.

My deepest sympathy to all of Joe’s family. Although I haven’t seen Joe for many years I can remember how much fun and what an absolute great guy he was. Both our families lived on Utton Avenue and it was a neighborhood of nice families and wonderful kids like Joe. Back in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s we had a lot of fun thanks to Joe.
