| Leonard “Lenny” Cavaluzzi, 54, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on Sunday October 9th, 2022 at Bayfront Medical Center. Lenny was the life of the party, a natural entertainer, and one of the most selfless people you’d ever meet.
Lenny loved the beach, playing his music full blast, and traveling- some of his favorite places included the redwood forest, Spain, and Italy. He enjoyed planning weddings and hosting parties to entertain his friends and family. Lenny was a natural leader and never a wallflower. He worked at The Home Depot for over 34 years. Lenny worked his way up from a cart pusher to a Regional HR Manager. Throughout that time, he crossed the country back and forth and touched the lives and hearts of many of his associates along the way. Lenny was a natural motivator, role model, and caregiver. He had an innate instinct to help those who needed it. He and Allen had a Christmas tradition of providing gifts to children from families who didn’t have the means. He made deep and meaningful connections to those who he surrounded himself with. He was father to Lenny “Tiger” Cavaluzzi III. He loved being a father and was fondly known by his son’s friends, whom he called his “children”, as “Daddy C.” Lenny treasured making homecooked Italian food for his family and friends. He dedicated time to volunteering at the Suncoast Hospice Organization and was an ordained minister who enjoyed planning and officiating weddings for many loved ones. Lenny is preceded in death by his grandparents- Leo & Lorraine Cavaluzzi and stepfather- Frank Anemone. He is survived by his husband- Allen Cavaluzzi, son- Leonard Cavaluzzi, III., mother- Rochelle Miller, stepfather- Steve Miller, father- Leonard Cavaluzzi, siblings- Christopher Cavaluzzi, Lucas Anemone, Maria McKiernan, Lisa Cavaluzzi, Fabian Cavaluzzi, and Daniel Cavaluzzi, and step-siblings Anne Margaret Anemone, and Frank Anemone, Jr. The family is holding a private celebration of life service in his honor at The Birchwood in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am deeply saddened to hear of your and our loss. Lenny was a good man, and sweet friend. Loved the pictures and the happiness he shared with all of us with all of you who loved him dearly. My heart felt condolences to his husband Allen, his son Lenny, and all who loved him.
I opened the Rancho Cucamonga Home Depot with Lenny and worked for him fir about 3 years. He was more than a boss as he treated me like a good friend. He will always be my all time favorite manager. Prayers to the family. RIP. I will miss you everyday.

Losing Lenny is heartbreaking. He has always been such a kind and generous friend and caring person. He put his hand out to all in need and expected nothing in return. He was the rock and glue for friends and family. He was truly a one of a kind person and there are not words to express how deep his loss is felt by all. My condolences to his husband Allen, his son Tiger and mother Shelley, as well as his to his many loving relatives.

I knew Lenny since grade school & we went to High School together at Camelback. I always laughed and joked with him. He had such an infectious personality, was always fun! He worked at Burger King and would always hook me up with some food. Was a great friend for life. Im happy we stayed in touch via FB and I am happy to call him a lifetime friend. Im deeply saddened to hear about him passing and he actually came to my mind on Friday without even knowing about this when I was in front of the Burger 🍔 King he worked at. Lenny was a Great person to Everyone. I remember the first time I met him at Robert Neriz’s house on the eastside of Phoenix, Az. He just got the Job at home depot and was talking bout making spaghetti for dinner, that impression lasted a life time for me. Condolences & Prayers for his Family and Friends.
