Pastor Dale Brooks
8/26/1943 – 11/27/2022
Dale, was Senior Pastor of Calvary Temple/Centerpointe Community Church for 45 years, which is now Grace Family Church Temple Terrace. He answered the call of God when he was 19 years of age and became a vital part of the Charismatic movement in the Tampa Bay area. He was a church planter in his own city, across the United States and around the world. After retiring as Senior Pastor in 2008, he & Kaye began traveling full-time with Missionary Ventures, bringing hope and encouragement to national Pastors and Missionaries in over 90 countries. He was also on staff at Grace Family Church, known as POPS, (Pastor of the Pastor’s), using his 60 years of ministry experience to mentor and encourage Pastors. He is proudest of being a husband to his wife Kaye since 1964, a father to his two sons and their wives, Warren & Tina, Scott & Jessica and Pape to nine wonderful grandchildren, Tyler (Kelsea), Tiara(Jon), Taylor (Derek), Aaron and Jacob, Andrew, Dylan, Gabriel, Sophia and one great-grandchild, Jameson (Tiara & Jon), and spiritual parents and grandparents to thousands.
I am so thankful Pastor Dale gave my brother a chance as a youth pastor who would of knew other than God what was to become of that. We will miss him but know we will be reunited with him in heaven.
We will be eternally thankful to have known Dale and look forward to seeing him again in heaven. This is all because he was such a good friend that he introduced us to his family…”The Family of God”… many years ago. Then we in turn introduced others, and they others & so on…& his legacy still goes on even after Dale’s in heaven. Thank you Jesus for putting us together so many years ago & thank You Lord, for sending the comforter to Kay who will feel Dale’s absence from this earth. But at the same time, we thank You God that we can know Dale is rejoicing with his Mom & Dad once again. Hap is probably sounding a trumpet & Loretta singing along!

God blessed me richly when he led me to a small church where everyone loved God so much. Dale will always be special in my heart. Kaye, I love you and I know God will Bless you.
We lost an awesome Pastor here at Grace. He will be missed greatly by many, but he is now in Heaven preaching, singing, and looking down upon us. Pastor Brooks maybe gone in body, but his spirit and memories live on. May he Rest In Peace. Our condolences to the whole family.
Sincerely,
Yvette Caplinger
And Family
He meant so much to me when I moved to Tampa from MA in 2000. He is seriously rejoicing now in Heaven!
•I was a Washougal classmate … no contact since spring of 1960. I am thrilled about Dale’s life of pressing into “The Kingdom”. I am in the process of
watching Dale’s YouTube videos; extremely ministering.
•I shared Dale’s “First Things First” Video with a fellow classmate ,Dick Seekins. He commented, “Very Powerful … Some of the Dale I remembered back in school is there. Thanks for sharing.
•My condolences, but then … such a victory even to the point of ministering to two 80 year olds after death.
