To the Family of Patty Fernandez-
It is with a broken heart that I recall my memories of Patty from long ago when I first met Patty thru her sister- one of my best & dearest friends always, Betty.
Oh, the fun and frolic that started for me at 12 yr of age at the Fernandez home in Cranford NJ!!!!
So much love, activity, a beautiful family, terrific food & laughter from then only seems to bring tears now as I remember meeting Patty for the first time…. And would continue – seeing her grow over the next few years to become a lovely young lady as she gowned up for Betty’s wedding! (Patty shocked all us friends that day after she had spent two hours sitting with the hairstylist that came to quaff her beautiful hair for the wedding, when suddenly- just before the wedding , Patty washed her hair out and redid it herself because she didn’t like the way it came out initially!!!!)
As Betty’s kid sister she was Beautiful, Spunky, & Lively. For one so young she always seemed determined & full of purpose. As I remember the past, I am bruised by the reality of today and weep with you all.
May the peace of Jesus and the love of God fill you with comfort at this time of loss.
My sympathies and prayers are with you always. May God‘s hand lay upon your hearts to give you strength and assurance as He is with you and upholding you.
With deepest sympathy and love always-
Susan (Hughes) Ibarra 💔
