John Richter III, 69, passed away on April 12, 2023 in Clearwater, FL.
He was born on September 5, 1953 in Lindenhurst, NY. to the late John Richter Jr. and Gloria (Hodge) Richter.
John married Sharon Bodkin on July 2, 2010 in Hendersonville, NC.
Survivors include: his wife Sharon Bodkin, Son: Eric Richter, Daughters: Jamie Richter, Heather Richter, stepson: Tim Bodkin, Brothers: Scott Richter, Alan Richter, and grandchildren: Julian, Layla, Nathan, Austin, Isabell, John, Katie and Cody.
John is preceded in death by his; parents, and stepson: Corey Bodkin.
John served in the US Air Force, was APWA certified construction Inspector II for the City of Clearwater from which he retired from. After retirement he went to work for the Town of Bel-Aire for over 10 years.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be conducted at Bay Pines National Cemetery on May 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
