Shirley was our childhood friend. Shirley had such a wonderful laugh and and was a talented singer. I remember her performing when she was in grade school at a PTA meeting. She and I reminisced about that night not too longer ago. My sister and I spent many years of our youth playing up in Canfield Lane with the twins. The entire Baker family was our extended family.
Shirley, Rest in Peace and I know you were welcomed home by many family members and friends.
It is with great sadness and much love that I send my condolences to Shirley’s special family.
I have been Shirley’s friend for eighty years; we started first grade at Harris Elementary, moved on to the Annex and graduated with the Class of 1956, Key West High School.
Shirley’s singing voice was beautiful and her smile delightful.
We had many adventures during our youth and we forged unforgetable memories. I thank GOD for my friend and I know she has been welcomed in HEAVEN by Donnie, Sheryl, relatives and friends. 🌹
