Weds Andy Wilvenson Byssainthe, born March 20th 2003, grew up in Petion-Ville, a suburb of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He came to the United States at the age of 12 and spent the rest of his time in Tampa, Florida, where he attended Armwood High School and graduated with honors. After graduating from high school, he received a full scholarship to Florida Polytech University in Lakeland, Florida where he majored in Chemical Engineering. He decided to join the United States Air Force in February of 2023, later earning the rank of Airman First Class.
Although he appeared to be shy to some, Weds was very talented. He liked to sing, write his own songs, play the piano and play guitar as a hobby.
He was a great brother to his siblings; always playing and teaching them things he learned.
On June 24, 2023, the Lord called him home after a tragic water accident. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his father, Wislet Byssainthe, mother Louisane Louis, his step-mother, six siblings, his grandparents along with uncles, aunts, cousins and the rest of the family we didn’t get to mention.
May his soul rest in peace!

First, I wanted to express my condolences to his family and friends. I am still in shock and it has been almost three months since the Lord called you home. Weds was a good soul. He was funny, smart and very caring. I was fortunate enough to know him since 8th grade and I thank God every day for giving me the chance to get to know him. Thank you Weds for giving me beautiful skies since your passing. Thank you for your jokes and late-night calls and for your songs. I love you so much and I always always will. If God permits it, I will travel the world and earn five citizenships like you always wanted to do. I will watch Stargate and eat sushi weekly. I will live for you every day until the Lord calls me home. I will keep your soul alive by remembering you everyday. My heart still aches as I am writing this message, but just know that I will always be grateful for everything that you’ve done for every one here on this Earth. Thank you Andy! Rest in peace my love<3
With love,
Kami
I went to basic training with Weds. It’s been a while since he’s passed but every once in a while I think about the time we had and how it flew by. He was one of the most genuine people I ever met and never was afraid to show his smile. He was a great assistant dorm chief and an amazing friend. I got you tatted on my body now brother to commemorate everything 4B2 does for you now in your name. Love you Byss
To add more he definitely was not shy. He loved making friends. Not sure if that was the military life style or if he saw us as true friends. But he walked around and make friends with every single one of us. He sang music on Sundays when we had all the down time to ourselves and always checked on all of his wingman. Never forget our brother in arms 🤞🏼
The world really was a better place with Byss in it. He was always there for people around him with a smile. You are truly missed.
