Ross John Ozimek was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 12, 1949 to Julia Emma Dressler and Theodore Ozimek. Ross had three siblings, Florence, Julia (Jackie), and James. Ross met his wife of 43 years, Patricia Elaine (Wrobel) Ozimek in Detroit and they had three children, Dina, Ross and Julia. Ross and Patricia grew tired of cold winters and relocated to Tampa, Florida where they spent the rest of their lives together. Ross was a Navy veteran, truck driver, and loved traveling. He enjoyed solitude, the outdoors, and working with his hands.
Ross is preceded in death by his mother Julia, father Theodore, sisters Florence and Julia, brother James, his wife Patricia, and daughter Dina. Ross is survived by his son Ross Ozimek, daughter Julia Ozimek, and three grandchildren, Thomas (T.C.) Howse, Ethan Howse, and Emberly Ozimek. Ross John Ozimek will be deeply missed by his friends and loved ones. His wisdom, lessons, and the memories of his life will persevere. May he and the love of his life, Patricia, rest in peace now that they are interred together at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
