Richard Z. Meredith of Clearwater, FL passed away on September 21, 2023. He was 91. Mr. Meredith was born on June 20, 1932 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to parents Earl W. and Madge Ellen Meredith (Zinn).
Richard married the love of his life, Carole A. Meredith in 1990. They shared 17 years together. He retired three years after, in 1993, from Baxter Healthcare where he worked as a Draftsman. Prior to he served in the United States Navy as a Radio Operator for our great nation. He retired from the Navy in the year 1970.
Survivors include son, Kenneth (Theresa) Meredith; step-daughter, Denise (Tony) Pursser. Step-son Rob (Ronda) Lakatos; 10 grandchildren, Ryan, Rebecca, Sarah, Greg, Logan, Megan, Amanda, Michael, Brandon and Taylor.
He is preceded in death by parents, Earl and Madge Meredith; wife, Carole A. Meredith; and step-daughter, Christy Ireland.
A Committal Service with Military Honors will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Friday, October 13, 10:00AM.
