Nicholas Adair Ferrell, 40, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away Saturday January 6, 2024 at his residence.
He was born February 5, 1983 in Madisonville to Phillip Wayne Ferrell and Betty Carolyn Adair Ferrell of Madisonville. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Cecil Ferrell, and Chester and Betty Adair.
Nicholas worked at St. Pete Tattoo Company as a Tattoo Artist. He was also a member of the Madisonville First Christian Church. He was a terrific artist from a very young age, as many of the downtown buildings will show. He loved to travel, and often traveled around the country doing guest appearances at tattoo shops.
He is survived by his parents; his son, Nate Lyons of Madisonville; two brothers, Ben Ferrell of Wichita, KS, and David Ferrell of Bowling Green, KY; two cousins that are like brothers, Ferrell Schmidt of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Dr. Shelly Ferrell of Lexington, KY; and two cousins, Wendy Nowack of Kannapolis, NC, and Ashley Wolff of Seberna Park, MD
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Kara Foster officiating, assisted by Dr. Joe Leonard. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday January 12, 2024 and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, 2285 North Main Street, Madisonville, KY 42431
