Andrew Parker, IV, affectionately known as “DJ”, aged 4, of Tampa, Florida, tragically passed away on March 16th, 2024, in Ruskin, Florida. Born on August 28, 2019, in Meridian, Mississippi, DJ brought immense joy and love into the lives of his parents, Andrew Parker, III, and Ashley B Parker.
From an early age, DJ exhibited an extraordinary thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning. His love for reading, writing, and exploring the world around him was boundless. Whether delving into books or engaging with technology, DJ’s intellect shined brightly. He adored playing Mario, Fall Guys, and Astros Playroom, showcasing his youthful exuberance and infectious laughter.
One of DJ’s greatest joys was spending time with his family, especially his little brother, Archie. Their playful wrestling matches and shared adventures brought warmth and laughter to their home. DJ cherished moments spent Facetiming loved ones, his sweet voice and contagious enthusiasm lighting up the screen.
Despite his tender age, DJ possessed remarkable intelligence, astonishing many with his ability to read, write, and solve puzzles well beyond his years. His aptitude for technology was equally impressive, navigating phones, PlayStations, and his Nintendo Switch with ease.
DJ’s uniqueness extended beyond his intellect; his curiosity, his locks of hair, and his gentle demeanor endeared him to all who knew him. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever etched in the hearts of his loved ones.
DJ is survived by his devoted mother, Ashley Parker; loving father, Andrew Parker, III; adored brother, Archer Wayne Parker; doting grandparents, Andrew and Karon Parker, Melissa and Kevin Culpepper, Morris and Amy Vincent, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Abigail Young; great-grandfather, Andrew Parker, Sr.; grandmother, Angie Vincent; and great-grandfather, Morris Vincent, Sr.
The Parker family extends heartfelt gratitude to their military community, friends, and family for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
A memorial service to celebrate DJ’s life will be held at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home located at 675 Howard Avenue Biloxi, MS 39530 on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, with visitation starting at 10 am, followed by the memorial service at 11 am.
Forever remembered, forever cherished, DJ’s light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear DJ.
