Daniel Joseph Kane, resident of Belleair, Florida, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on May 23, 2024. He was 83 years old. Born on December 9, 1940, Dan’s life was marked by compassion and a love for his family and country. Born in Buffalo, New York, Dan attended Lackawanna High School and later went on to serve in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. During this time, he served on the USS Lexington, an iconic ship that currently operates as a floating museum in Corpus Chrisi, Texas. Dan had a successful career in real estate and was a loving friend, father, and husband. His sense of humor and kindness will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him. Daniel Joseph Kane leaves behind a legacy of service to his country, dedication to his profession and passionate loyalty as a friend and father. He will be deeply missed. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Sandi, his previous wife, Camella, and his three children, Linda, Thomas, and Daniel Jr.
