Robert Moore Frazier, affectionately known as Chickie, was born on August 15, 1942, in Concord, Massachusetts, to Shirley Anne (Morrison) Frazier and Robert A. Frazier. With heavy hearts, we announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, in Sarasota, Florida. He was 81 years old.
Robert’s journey through life was marked by resilience, service, and a deep sense of familial devotion. He attended Maynard High School but felt a calling greater than academics at the age of 17 when he proudly enlisted in the US Navy. His service spanned four years during the Cuban Crisis, a testament to his bravery and dedication to his country.
Throughout his life, Robert embraced the joy and challenges of love, marrying four times. He was preceded in death by three of his beloved wives. His commitment to family extended beyond his marriages, evident in his devotion to his children and grandchildren.
Robert was a hardworking individual who found fulfillment in his various occupations. He dedicated a significant portion of his career to Wilson Lumber, where his dedication and work ethic left a lasting impact. Additionally, he served the Concord Public Schools community as a custodian for many years, leaving behind a legacy of service and camaraderie.
In his passing, Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He is survived by his son, Robert Francis Frazier, his daughter, Sheri Lee Frazier, three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Alex Frazier, while preceded in death by his brother, Bill Frazier.
Though he may have departed from this world, Robert’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we bid farewell, we take solace in knowing that he now soars among the angels. Fly high, Dad. We love you dearly and will hold you close in our memories forever.
