Jaclyn Suzanne “Suzie” Monk Johnson (47) of Seminole, FL gained her heavenly wings on Monday, May 27, 2024, with her family lovingly by her side after a brief illness.
Suzie was born to Connie Bucklen Monk and to the late Kenneth Woody Monk, Jr, on January 29, 1977, at Richlands, VA, where she was raised along with her two twin sisters, Evie Monk and Ann Monk Honaker.
While attending the University of Virginia, she married her true love, Keith Edward Johnson on July 18, 1998. They lived in Charlottesville, VA before moving to Richmond, VA, where they resided for 15 years. They were entrepreneurs and built a life together before having their beautiful daughters, Keira Noelle, 11 and Hanna Belle, 5. She was a very loving and protective mother, and her family was her life. She dedicated much time to work-from-home opportunities, ensuring that she could remain at home with her own children. In 2021 they were spiritually led to begin a new life in Seminole Florida, where they have lived for the past three years. Suzie thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with her family at the glorious Florida beaches. Suzie was a member of Real Church in Clearwater and loved her church family. She was very compassionate and giving, supporting various Christian missionaries and The Wounded Warrior Project.
Throughout her life, her greatest joys were doing fun activities with her daughters, going to beaches and parks, spending time with family, mountain biking, skiing, and going on date nights with her husband to their favorite restaurants. Suzie was energetic and full of life. She had a beautiful smile and had a personality that lit up any room. She was generous, smart, loving, and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Suzie had the voice of an angel and performed in numerous bands. Her stage name was Suzie Mojo and her music lives on forever on iTunes, YouTube, and Spotify. Her voice is featured on a theme song played on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and is currently being heard by millions worldwide. She loved being a singer/songwriter, filling her own songs with messages of faith, hope, and family, while performing popular songs with soulful passion and engaging storytelling.
Suzie is preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Keith; 2 daughters, Keira and Hanna; mother, Connie; 2 sisters, Evie and Ann (husband Danny), brother-in-law, Doug (wife Crystal); 2 nieces, Caitlin Cordle (husband Tyler) (son Ocean), Lauren Daniel (husband Ben); 3 nephews, Chandler Blankenship (wife Noel), Grayson Honaker and Corey Johnson. Also, many friends and family that she loved dearly.
Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 13 at 2 PM at Veterans Funeral Care, 830 N Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33765.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29 at 2 pm with early visitation at 1 pm for close friends and family at Raven Assembly of God, 814 Raven Rd, Raven, VA 24639.
A Benefit concert will be held in memory of Suzie at Great American Ranch, Midlothian, Va at a later date.

Anne and Evie I am class of 91 and I remember what a loving family you all were growing up. I’m so sorry for the loss of your sister. May God bless you all and her family. Her voice was beautiful and I’m sure a blessing to many! She will live forever in your hearts!
Suzie had so many talents and she tapped into her God Given gifts of being a Songwriter and a Singer. She never forgot her roots or her love for family. She was a strong Christian and adored her family. It’s so sad to be without her yet she is an angel now looking down on us
I cannot say that I know of a family that is more kind or loving as yours. You all will always have a special place in my heart.
Suzie always had a smile that would light up a room and was so sweet to me every time I saw her.
She will always remain in our hearts.
Love you all
We are so sorry for your loss, you all are in our prayers.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Suzie and I talked and she prayed with me many times. She was definitely a beautiful person inside and out. God sent her to me, I’m beyond thankful. My prayers are with you all now and days to come.
I’m still at a loss for words!! Suzie and the twins were always a huge impact on me and my life. They’re my older cousins and I looked upto them a great deal. Suzie used to play with me a lot when I was little, and I always knew she’d be an amazing mother one day and am glad she got her opportunity to be one. My heart goes out to Keith and the girls as well as Connie and her sisters!! May the good lord continue to carry you all through this difficult time. I love you all!! 🩷
