Craig Richard Carlson

Craig was born in Passaic, New Jersey to Oscar and Greta Carlson. He passed away in Clearwater, FL. Craig is survived by his wife of 47 years Dorothy (Dottie) Carlson. Craig and Dottie moved from New Jersey to Clearwater Florida in 1979. While living in Clearwater they owned and operated Endearing Years assisted senior living and later Fritzee Freeze ice cream shop. They have been members of Lakeside Community Chapel, Crossroads Church, and most recently Clearwater Community. They have also enjoyed the community at Raintree Village where they have lived for over 20 years.
Craig was preceded in death by an infant son Christopher. He leaves behind 3 children from his first marriage, Craig Jr., Ceri, and Kirsten and 5 children from Dottie’s first marriage, Eileen, Dave, Paul, Kristin, and Brad. They have many shared grandchildren together.
A service of remembrance will be held at Clearwater Community Church on August 3 at 11 o’clock with a light lunch following the service.
