Kenneth James DaSilva

Kenneth James DaSilva, born on October 13, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, joined God in eternal peace on October 3, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Florence DaSilva and a proud Vietnam veteran, having dedicated 20 years of honorable service to our country in the United States Air Force.

Kenny is remembered for his deep devotion to family. He was a loving husband to Sandra DaSilva for 45 years of marriage, and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Melissa Infante and Nicole Davila. As the middle brother among the DaSilva men, he shared a special bond with his siblings, Joseph and Dennis.

Kenny’s legacy continues through his four adoring grandchildren: Gabrielle Infante, Alana Davila, Lucas Infante, and Joseph Davila. He welcomed Oreste Infante and Isaias Davila, sons-in-law, as his own into the family.

While Kenny may no longer be with us, his kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to his family and country will always be remembered with warmth and gratitude. He had a deep love for his furry companions, treating each one as a cherished family member. His passion for fast cars and hot rods has been passed down to his grandchildren, inspiring a new generation of enthusiasts. Kenny was the kind of man who had every tool you could need tucked away in the trunk of his car, always ready to lend a hand—with duct tape never far behind!

A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at Veterans Funeral Care at 10:00 AM on October 16, 2024, followed by a religious funeral service at 11:30 AM. Military honors (taps) will take place outside at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery.
