Carroll A. (Chuck) Johnson departed this life October 4, 2024, passing peacefully at his home in St Petersburg FL surrounded by his loving family. Chuck was born in Ames Iowa, December 17, 1947 to Les and Gilberta( Smith) Johnson.
He served as a medic for the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. Following the war he moved to Florida where he worked as a Respiratory Therapist at James Haley VA, St Anthonys and Northside hospitals for over 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed working on classic cars, building model cars, fishing, and traveling. He was devoted to his family and was loved and respected by all.
Chuck is survived by his loving and devoted wife Bella of 38 years.. His daughter Tracy Konsdorf and grandson Parker Konsdorf. His bonus children Robert and Merlita Jones, Steve and Laura Tringali, and grandchildren Cristina and Chris Rushing, Stephanie Jones, Derreck Alphonso, Christopher Tringali, Michael Tringali, Eric Damewood, and the Dawson/Heyward family.
