It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Patricia “Pat” Becker, who peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on March 18, 2025. Pat was born on December 15, 1937 in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania to Russell and Edith Emerich.
John and Pat were married on July 24, 1955 and spent 35 years together raising three children.
Pat was a homemaker for many years and relocated her family often as the Air Force redeployed her husband. She lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Alaska, Maryland, Florida and Texas. She moved to Tampa in 1968 where her husband retired from the Air Force and she began a career as a warehouse supervisor with Burdines. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
Pat will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, spirit, strength, strong will, stubbornness and most of all for her love of family and friends.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, John along with her mom and dad and her only sister Barbara. Mom would not want us to forget her puppy children who preceded her, Toby, Fudster, Maggie, Bandit and her Harley Barley who was her faithful companion and guardian for so many years.
Pat leaves behind her loving family: 2 sons, Brian Becker (Joyce) of Navasota, TX; Terry Becker of Clearwater, FL; a daughter: Stacy Robinson of San Antonio, TX; along with 11 grandchildren: Julia, Jessica, Andrew, Cortney, Ashley, John, Michael, Felicia, Heather, Melanie, and Bobby; and 16 great grandchildren: Caden, Alayna, John, Delilah, Jordan, Alexis, Olivia, Evelyn, Sylvia, Max, Lincoln, Liam, Jayce, Kage, Aurora and Stella; and 7 honorary grandchildren: Shakira, Tarrah, Samuel, Raelyn, Liam, Elijah, and Summer.
The family will have a gathering of friends and family on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Veterans Funeral Care.
Pat will be laid to rest with her husband, TSGT U.S. Air Force, John L. Becker, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
The family wishes to thank all of Pat’s friends and caregivers for the love and companionship that they shared with her through the years.
My heart is broken!! May you find Comfort and Peace! Loved her so much💔❣️
