Roland E. Tougas, 75 of Clearwater, FL passed away peacefully at home on June 6,

from 1968-1970, Roland spent many years working at Nonotuck Wire Co. in South
Hadley, MA and went on to retire from the Town of South Hadley. In 1996, Roland and
Flo moved to Clearwater, FL where they could enjoy their remaining years close to their
favorite places, the beach, the ocean, and the casino. He is survived by his wife
Florence (Lesniak) Tougas of Clearwater, FL, his daughter Tammy Litwin and significant
other Charles Giersz of Simi Valley, CA, and the pride and joy of his life, his three
grandsons, Shawn Tougas of Dunedin, FL, Connor Litwin of Simi Valley, CA, and Cody
Litwin of Simi Valley, CA. He leaves a sister Marie Jerold and her husband Henry of
Springfield, MA, a sister Deborah Tougas of Chicopee, MA, a brother Ronald Tougas
and his wife Debra of Chicopee, MA, a sister Donna Chmura of Chicopee, MA and
numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his eldest brother, Roger
Tougas in September 2008 and brother Robert Tougas in May 2019. He will also now
be reunited with his only son, Shawn D. Tougas, who predeceased him earlier this year
on February 15, 2025.
