Nick loved the Beach, water, lakes, boats, motorcycles & the outdoors. He loved the sun, spending many years getting golden brown & proud of it! He loved playing cards with family & friends.
Nick & Bibi loved to travel, they have been all over the world on vacations, cruises & tours, but there second home was Denmark, they traveled to Europe every year for 40 years! They had so many friends & family members around the Globe. When the word got out of his passing, his family was overwhelmed with people from NY, CA, FL & Europe all reaching out with their thoughts, prayers & well wishes.
Nick was a devoted family man; Bibi, his children & grandchildren meant the world to him… Family was always first! but his family was extended to all his friends & neighbors, especially the “Gorse Court crew” in Highland Lakes. They were the lucky people that got to see him daily, in his driveway rocking chair, telling some jokes, talking about stocks, or just passing the time away. He loved to talk to friends & strangers alike… he always had time for a smile & a chat, those who were luckily enough to know him, will miss those times dearly…
The Family wants to extend a special Thanks to Father Paul, the Nurses, Shay & the whole team at Suncoast Hospice of Pinellas County. They took great care of Nick, right up until his passing that evening.
