I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Bill’s entire family; my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I am grateful to have known Bill, he was one of the good guys.
Between his comical antics and a wicked sense of humor, Bill brought laughter wherever he went.
Thanks for the memories, shipmate; and God Bless.
Ohhh Billy Billy… damn. You took us in and made us feel welcome in Florida. Never a dull moment around you. The way you could take over a bar room will always be a cherished memory. One of absolutely 1 brother. Thanks for letting some of us into your very small circle. Love you man
I want to send my deepest sympathy to Billy’s family. I met Billy when we were in HS. I was at his send off party for the military back when we were kids. I loved his easy going nature and sense of humor. He was in my wedding party. As an only child he really was the brother I never had. I spoke with Jan on and off while Bill served. All through my days at college and work we made a point to meet up. I’m heart broken and will miss him-always in my thoughts and prayers Bill.
I just want to extend my condolences to Bill’s family and friends he was a great guy who always made me laugh when I was having a bad day. It was a privilege to work with him for 4 years at Walgreens he always made my day brighter when he was there. He was always talking about his sports teams to anyone that would listen. During football season we would always talk about the games. I know he fought this battle with everything he had but he just couldn’t do it anymore longer now he is at peace and out of pain and not suffering anymore. We will definitely miss him.
Had some of the wildest times with Bill our first Med cruise was one adventure after the other…I worked deck division with him till I struck for QUARTERMASTER I remember very cold north Atlantic ops and sunning on the French Riviera with him..a very sad day! GOD Bless you Bill…
