Joseph Anthony LoPinto, Sr., 76, of Oldsmar, FL, passed away on September 20, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Dominic and Lucille LoPinto. A proud veteran, Joseph served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Santa A. LoPinto; his daughter, Darlene LoPinto; his son, Joseph Anthony LoPinto Jr. (Elizabeth); his daughter, Donnamarie Illuminati (Dylan); and his cherished grandchildren, Caitlyn, Matthew, Vincent, Nicolas, Joseph, Brooklyn, Francesca, 4 bonus grandchildren, and 13 adored great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Veterans Funeral Care, 830 N Belcher Rd. Clearwater, FL 33765. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:30 at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Philippe Pkwy. Safety Harbor, FL 34695. Immediately following the mass, a committal service with military honors will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery,9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 at 2:00 PM.
