June Pearl (Kenney) Taber, 93 passed away December 9th at the Ruleme Nursing/Rehab Center in Eustis, Fl. June was born in Boston, MA on March 2, 1932. She was married to John Elliot Taber, Sr., who predeceased her in 2006. After high school she attended the School of Nursing in Peabody, MA, earning her LPN license. The family moved to central Florida in 1969 where several family members still reside. June was also predeceased by two sons, Scott and Bryant Taber. June is survived by her daughter, Cindy; sons John Jr., Thomas (Tommy), Shawn and an extended family of daughters-in-law, a son-in-law and numerous grand and great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be at the Florida National Cemetary, Bushnell, Florida on Friday, Feb 6, 2026 at at 1:30p.m.
Also: A Celebration of life will be held at the Eustis Elks Club on Saturday Feb 7, 2026 from 10:00a.m.- 1:00p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations to be made to a Dementia/Alzheimers research group of your choice.
