John S. Uline

John S. Uline, 79, passed away in his home in Palm Hill Mobile Home retirement community in Largo, FL, on February 7, 2026. He was born to John Sr. and Catherine Uline in Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a member of the class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and later graduated from Dyke College School of Business.

He worked as a machinist at National Acme in Cleveland, Ohio, and Swagelok in Solon, Ohio, as well as managing his rental property business for many years in Slavic Village, an ethnic area of Cleveland. From his first marriage in late 1968, he became a loving dad to three beautiful daughters, Gina, Tracy, and Becky, who now have loving families of their own.

John and JoAnn were married in 1990. They continued to work and bought “a place on the lake,” Lake Erie in Huron, Ohio, eventually retiring and soon becoming snowbirds, going back and forth to Palm Hill in Largo, Florida. They loved taking a quick ride to “their” beaches, Madeira Beach and Indian Rocks Beach—getting coffee, parking, and taking their beach chairs onto the sand, warmed by the sun and cooled by the ocean breezes.

John tried to enjoy every day, although he had many health issues. His daughters made many visits over the years, and John and his wife made a few visits to see them as well. In recent times, he enjoyed phone conversations with his daughters, keeping up with what was happening in their lives, as well as the lives of his grandchildren: Kaila, Hayley, Max, Neil, and Quinn.

Rest in peace, Jack. You will forever be with us in our hearts. Thoughts and prayers from your loving family.
