Timothy 4:7
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Margo often held close the words of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This was not just a verse she loved—it was a truth she lived by.
Written by the Apostle Paul while in prison, this scripture does not speak of personal achievement or outward success, but of a deeper, enduring strength—one that allows for contentment and perseverance in every circumstance. Margo reflected that same spirit. No matter how she felt or what diagnosis she faced, she endured through her faith in Christ.
Her strength was not something she tried to create on her own; it flowed from her relationship with Jesus. She did not ignore her struggles or pretend they weren’t there. Instead, she faced them with quiet faith and a steady dependence on Him, embodying the true meaning of the passage.
Margo’s life reminds us that this kind of strength is not about outward triumph, but about enduring with grace.
In Nehemiah 8:10, we are told: “Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Looking back, we can see that Margo lived this truth as well. Her strength was not about controlling what happened to her, but about how she chose to walk through it—with faith, resilience, and trust in Him.
