Brooklyn, New York, welcomed a remarkable soul on July 16, 1934. Carmine Guido graced this world with a presence that brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to all who were fortunate enough to know him. On April 24, 2026, at the age of 91, Carmine peacefully departed, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Carmine was born and raised in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, where he spent his formative years surrounded by the dynamic spirit of the community he called home. In 1954, he answered the call of duty and served honorably in the United States Army until 1956, embodying the values of courage and dedication that would define his life.

On a beautiful spring day, May 3, 1958, Carmine married the love of his life, Rose Costa, in a heartfelt ceremony in Brooklyn. Together, they shared an extraordinary 67 years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Their journey was one filled with laughter, mutual respect, and a profound connection that stood the test of time.

Carmine’s professional journey led him to the world of finance, where he diligently worked and provided for his family. His career was marked by integrity and a steadfast commitment to excellence, earning him respect among colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond his professional achievements, Carmine found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, often found casting lines into tranquil waters, savoring the serenity that nature offered. His love for the game of golf was equally profound, where he spent countless hours on the green, perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. Card games were another of his passions, where his sharp wit and sense of humor would shine as brightly as his smile.

Carmine’s sense of humor was legendary, often bringing joy and laughter to those around him. His kindness knew no bounds, and his generosity extended to everyone he encountered. He possessed a unique ability to make people feel valued and loved, a true testament to his compassionate spirit.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rose, who shared his journey for nearly seven decades. He also leaves behind three devoted daughters and their husbands, who were a source of immense pride and joy for him. Carmine was a doting grandfather to three grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren, each of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carmine’s life and legacy at a service to be held at the Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors on June 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
