With deep sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Rob, age 52.
Rob was a kind, loving, and compassionate soul with a heart of gold. He cared deeply for others and had a special gift for making people feel welcomed, accepted, and valued. He loved meeting people, making connections, sharing meaningful conversations, and creating memories with those around him. His gentle spirit, generosity, and genuine kindness touched the lives of many.
He will be remembered for his beautiful heart, his compassion for others, and the love he gave so freely.
Rob is survived by his mother Gloria Szafraniec, his father Ted J. Szafraniec, his sister Kristin Szafraniec, his fiancé Allison Huewitt, and many loving extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
There will be no traditional funeral or memorial service. Instead, his ashes will be taken out onto the Gulf for a peaceful and meaningful farewell.
Rob was truly one of a kind. He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
