James Patrick Gannon, 66, died at St. Anthony Hospital on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, St. Petersburg, FL.
Born in Chicago, IL, he married Patricia Wentland and born three children that he loved with all his heart and soul, Brian, Neal and Michele Gannon Villa. Later he married his current wife, Adele Larque Gannon and was stepfather to Adele’s four children enjoying many wonderful years together.
He retired from White Pines Golf Course as Manager of Building Maintenance and then moved to Florida. His biggest joy was spending time with his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and friends. He is survived by his wife, Adele, 3 children, Brian, Neal and Michele and his step-children, Patrick, Jonathan, Marcus and Franco. He is also survived by his brother John and his wife, Deloras Gannon all residing in the Chicago, IL.
Jim especially loved car races, estate sales (finding that one treasure), traveling, drinking his beer, enjoying time with his friends, but most of all he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will forever remain alive in all of our hearts and remembered with a big smile and hearty laugh.
Burial service with military honors will be presented at 2 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/baypines.asp.
