We’re never ready to say goodbye
To someone we hold dear.
If it were up to us, dear Dad,
We’d always keep you here.
But God has reasons of His own
And plans we cannot know,
And these are always for our good,
Though it may seem not so.
Our arms are empty and our hearts
Are filled with tears and grief,
For we who loved each day with you,
Now find those days too brief.
Yet if we could only heaven see,
We’d know you’re happy there,
And we would never call you back
When such great joy you share.
And so we’ll trust you to God’s great care
And know some day, once more,
We’ll hold you to our hearts again
When we reach heaven’s shore.
To my Father.

from your loving son paul,
i love you and always will miss you in every step of my life.
I thank god for the little but fun 2 years I got to truly have fun and spend with him. He was a good loving man and open his good heart to everyone and always had the best intentions. I’m glad he got to see me all grown up before his time finally came to an end…and I know he wouldn’t have wanted to spend these past two years with anyone one else but his family especially me and my siblings, his grandchildren. I love you grandpa and know your in peace now. With all my love
-Adrian

A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you, and were helped by you, will remember you when forget-me-nots are withered. You carved your name on hearts, and not on marble.
God Speed my dear father in law!

Uncle David was one of the most joyful, truly Christian people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing! I take solace knowing he’s with God now – happy & free in body & spirit! To his family I will keep you all in my prayers. I’m so sorry for your loss! Your cousin, Diana
MY GRANDFATHER: You would think he was an ordinary grandfather but he wasn’t. He helped me and my family out so much you wouldn’t believe how many times he did things for us but I am not here to tell you about how he helped us out, I am here to tell you he was a great guy, a great grandfather, and a great father. He never let anyone disappoint him in fact he would just give me and my family a grin or a smile and hope everyone for the best. My father was so close to him he checked on him everyday and both agreed if they won the lottery they would split the money. That takes a lot of trust. That just proved how much he trusts us and how much we trusted him. He was a very lovable man. One time he was in the hospital and he gave me a kiss and my mom and dad and said I love you. My most favorite memory and time was spent the Christmas before and this Christmas because I got to spend a lot of time with him and see a pretty light show with him and my family we also went for a nice dinner with him and my family. Another time I had a great time with him was when my great Aunt Dorothy was in town and we went for dinner and went to a coffee shop and I had a muffin. I got a banana muffin and it was the worst muffin ever and I can remember he was smiling at me. Thank you
