My Dear 2nd Mom was a wonderful mother and friend. She had a gentle and quiet spirit and was always more concerned with others than she was about herself. She and my father were true soul mates and were inseparable….they did everything together. She will be deeply missed but I will treasure the memories I have of her being my 2nd mom for the past 27 years and am so thankful that she brought so much happiness not only to my father but to our family. What a special gift she was to me.
Everything that I am I owe to my mother. She was the rock that held our family together during my childhood. I could never return all the love she gave to me. I can only honor her memory by continuing to live the life she would expect of me and raising her granddaughter in her image.
I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Evelyn. She was a special woman.
