Please accept my condolences for your loss. During difficult times I find joy in knowing we have a God that cares for us. I hope you too can find relief in the comforting words of the Bible’s promises of death being no more, written at Revelation, chapter 21 and verses 3 and 4. God also promised a ressurection of the dead found at Acts chapter 24 and verse 15. What a joy that will be to see our loved ones again.
Sincerely,
Zelda Headen
I was in the 160th MP Bn and served with Col. Rude. He could be a bit hard at time but was a good man and a fine officer. I am so sorry for his family’s loss and he will be remember by many of us who served with him. God bless you all and may he rest in peace.
To a much admired former Brother-in-Law, rest in peace my friend and thank you so much for your service to our country.
Dear Carl: My heartfelt condolences at the loss of your Father. He was a wonderful, warm and amazing man who had one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known. I was so blessed to work with him for three years. I believe that losing those we love and treasure so dearly is one of the hardest parts of our journey here on earth. I grieve with you and will always hold your Dad in such high regard and honor. Blessings to you and yours…
Was so very sorry to hear of Ed’s death. He was a wonderful friend and will be missed dearly. We were neighbors at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii and have remained connected through reunions in Colorado. Will miss him, his southern accent, his recitation of “Archibald” and his great friendship. Our prayers go out to you, your wife and children and all of his family. Our thanks to you for notifying Pete Muller so he could pass this news on to us. He is a legacy that will life on for a long time in our hearts and certainly in all of his family. We were blessed to have known him.
I would like to leave my condolences. I am the Manager at Fort Knox Storage and I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Rude. I apologize for leaving a message as this is on this area…but I haven’t had a way to contact the family otherwise…and need to make contact with his family. Please ask if a member of the family will please contact me. Thank you. I send my regards to his family and friends.
Colonel Rude was the best and most caring commander that I ever had.
