My Dad was the best Dad that a kid could ask for. He was loving, supportive, an excellent role model, and showed us how honesty and respect will get you everything. I have far too many fond memories of my Dad but there is just not enough time to go through them all. One of the fondest memories that I have of him was playing laser tag in the house as a kid. We would turn out all of the lights and go hide from Dad. He always won because all he would have to do is follow the sound of our laughter because we would start to crack up when he would run into walls, knock stuff over, and stub his toes. He would be all sorts of banged up but he would continue to play because he knew how much fun we were having and he enjoyed putting a smile on our faces. I think that is what gave my Dad the most joy in life. He loved kids and would do anything in the world for us. I love you Dad and I will never forget you. Your Son, Chris Andreasen

My Dad played many roles in my life. He was my best friend, he was my mentor, and was the best dad a kid could ever ask for. My Dad was the type of man that would drop any plans of his to help his kids at a moment’s notice. I had to move from Arizona to Florida. I called my dad and he immediately flew out to help me drive my U-Haul across country. My Dad and I have always been close, but we truly bonded on that trip. My dad had an obsession with Cracker Barrel, so naturally we stopped at every Cracker Barrel on the way for every meal of the day. Towards the end of the trip we were ready to get home, but we were both tired. My Dad tried a Monster energy drink for the first time and lets just say we made it home in record time. I love my Dad with all my heart and thank God for allowing me to have him in my life. Your Son, Michael Andreasen

One of my favorite memories of my dad: Growing up one of my favorite memories of my dad were our Tuesday night visitations with him. We would always go out to dinner then go do something fun. Most of the time we ended up at chuck e cheese. He would always play all of the games with my brothers and I, he didn’t just sit back and watch us. Then he would take us back home and if we had enough time we would play hide in go seek outside in the dark. That will always be one of my favorite memories of him is that he was always so proactive in our lives and always made things fun. From his daughter Brittney Andreasen
