Nancy C. Pinholster, 80, of Tampa, and formerly St. Pete & Seminole, died November 22, 2001 at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she came to Tampa in 1941 from Daytona Beach for training at the Gorden Keller School of Nursing at Tampa General Hospital. She enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a Registered Nurse during WW2. She cared for the wounded soldiers and sailors as they returned from Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge and other battles in Europe. She is survived by her sons, Chris Pinholster, Belleair Beach, Fl, and Jeffrey D. Pinholster, Tampa, Fl and 2 granddaughters.
