PETE’S TRIBUTE TO MEMAW
In remembrance of an angel..of a mother..a grandmother, a teacher of life and most importantly a sincere, caring soul. One who 89 years ago set out on a journey of life. An adventure that would take her from Ohio to Florida across the great blue sea and back home to live a life dedicated to family..a loved dedicated to being unconditional. Never was there a time when you felt any less to her. No matter what the problem, no matter what obstacle you may have encountered. We always knew one thing; everything would be ok..we always had Memaw. The mother of our family, the root, the life force of our family tree. And by no means would that tree be broken. She taught us to love, how to be compassionate and many other of lifes’ lessons. But if you step back and look real hard, you see the lesson she wanted us all to see most. Live your life by humble means; for the only true riches you ever have is the love of family. A family so great she devoted ever day of her life to..A life so great we owe every days of ours to. So as her soul slips silently into a place more befitting our sweet saint..Let the love she left behind be the light which guides us through tomorrow.
